The servants are unseen and unknown. Residents are welcome to take over the Servant’s rooms or not, but it is not recommended. Likewise, it is unclear where the Master resides. Usually s/he will call a meeting of their champions and meet them within the reception all or Banquet room.
Meals are typically taken together as a group, and if requested--training times for the champions as a group may be arranged. Both of the mundane variety, and also recreations of challenge-zones, such as the Labyrinth and the Mirror Gallery. The castle and its immediate surroundings have been set to mimic Earth with its single moon and 24 hour cycle of time, along with a standard Julian calendar for convenience.

Date: 2017-03-02 06:58 am (UTC)Mostly she just thought Trunks was amazing. Amazing, and she needed to get better, to be more on his level, even if she can't hit God status, she could fight to train harder. It was a good push.
"Yes, a bit like you and the library, though I think I might spend more time in the Observation room than here, I do like this room. The stone and wood feel... welcoming to me. Like the Temple." She said with a soft smile, reaching over to pluck a veggy out of the noodles, trying it out. Mmm.
"In the Force, yes. I was only a Padawan learner. I didn't even make it to Knight. There is still a lot for me to learn and.. no Master to learn it from." She glanced over at him and gave him a smile. "And we have time. I can read a few books and give them a try. Can't hurt."

Date: 2017-03-02 01:25 pm (UTC)He listened though, and knew her concern and desire were serious and valid. He still didn't view Ahsoka as anything other than capable and a worthy champion and partner in this. So he outclassed her physically---so what? Trunks was used to being outclassed himself.
"You know me well enough by now to know I'm not going to talk you out of more training, Ahsoka." Still that hint of smile. "And you know if I can help, I will."

Date: 2017-03-02 09:18 pm (UTC)She reached down to pick up the small bowl of noodles. Were those sticks of wood to eat with? She picked those up as well, looking at them, unsure of them, but still talking. "I was a commander of clone troopers in the war. Hundreds of troopers did what I told them to. It's always felt strange to me in some way that peacekeepers would fight and lead attacks, but I get why as well. Still, being here? It's like dropping back ten years. More innocent times?" She shrugged, and looked up to give him a smile again. "I think I could honestly be comfortable in any part of this place because of it. There are huge stakes here, and yet it feels... nicer."
She shook her head, looking at her food again, then sighed. "And yes, I know you'd help me with my training if I asked, but maybe you could start with... how to eat this with sticks." She asked, holding them together like one would with a fork.

Date: 2017-03-02 09:28 pm (UTC)Her request though, made him laugh a little and grin. "Yes ma'am Commander Ahsoka." Teasingly, and inwardly steeling himself as he moved over to sit by her. Taking up his own pair, and trying to show her. "Hashi. That's what they're known as commonly in my world. Mostly used in the East, but they've spread cultures." Showing her first how he was holding them, and then moving slower with it so she could see the proper positioning.

Date: 2017-03-03 01:22 am (UTC)She scooted a bit over too, toes curling a bit under her as she watched him. "Hashi." She repeated, holding the sticks like he had done. She watched him move with them, then tried herself. Concentrating as she picked up a vegetable piece. Lifting it to her mouth and grinning as she took the bite. Her hand wasn't properly aligned yet, but she managed. She'd figure it out more as well, but that might mean watching how he eats with them. "Interesting. I've seen very long versions of these, used for those with long necks, but I've never done it myself."
"Thanks." She mumbled a moment later, looking at her bowl. "For checking on me."

Date: 2017-03-03 01:30 am (UTC)They'd been closer already, since he'd already piggy-backed her. Or when they'd fallen in the pool. But those times she hadn't been in a short robe...
At least one of those times she'd been in a swim suitBreathing, he was not thinking about this!Food--food was always a good focus; especially for someone with saiyan blood.
Picking up his own bowl, showing her how. "It's not rude if you need to bring it closer. You're just not supposed to eat it all too fast." Bowing his head, a murmured "thank you for this meal", and then demonstrating.
Trying to ignore that he wanted to blush--because really, watching him eat? Yes, it was practical but it felt so very awkward and weird. Easier for her to see though, how with the proper grip it was about leverage using the chopsticks.
"Also..." A bit shyly, quieter, not looking at her. "you're welcome. I enjoy being around you."
no subject
Date: 2017-03-03 01:38 am (UTC)Which was bad. Huh.
She concentrated on what she was doing though, once she corrected her hold on it. There was a balance there, and it wasn't too bad. "I don't think anyone can eat too fast like this." She said with a chuckle in response to not eating too fast. She wasn't too bad though. It was clear it was awkward, but also not hard? Give her a week, if that, and she'll look like a pro.
She didn't look at him and his shy reply, because she was now blushing at that comment. "You are good to be around as well, Trunks." She said softly, and as if to shut up she pulled some noodles into her mouth to eat.
She would eat a bit of this, then go try to burn out the ache a bit. Also the hot water will be a great excuse for the blood burn in her cheeks.

Date: 2017-03-03 01:42 am (UTC)Once she seemed settled enough with it, Trunks applied himself to eating. Manners, but definitely more at ease and faster with the chopsticks than she was. Nor was he surprised she was a quick learner.
"So..." Maybe a bit awkward still, but honestly he really did have a question. Even if he'd never felt like he had to fill the silence with her before... "...how IS your shoulder? You said it was just a graze, but I am familiar with what that type of weapon can do, at least in concept." It hadn't seemed to different than the Ki blasts he was used to, but he was sure there was some difference he was missing.

Date: 2017-03-03 01:54 am (UTC)When he asked his question, she glanced over to her currently covered with a rob shoulder. It was the side holding the bowl at the moment, and she kept it close to her. She seemed to pause, to consider what to say. How she thought he would handle things or not. So instead she asked. "Would you rather a easy and vague answer? Or something a bit more detailed?" A simple truth that said little, or a honest truth that might make him think she couldn't handle herself, is her thought... or at least worry.

Date: 2017-03-03 02:07 am (UTC)She gave a small nod. Sitting her bowl down and placing the sticks carefully on the tray beside it. She shifted to turn more to face him, and pulled her robe over that shoulder more. There was a bandage there, put on properly, but also the orange skin of her shoulder had more darker orange veins that ran partly up her neck and shoulder. There was a redness around it, like sunburned a bit.
"It really isn't that mad. Blaster bolts can be set to different strengths. This one was set to kill. A blaster can do a projectile's worth of damage, but because it's energy, it will spider off in bigger areas of ones body. So a shot to the chest of most races can effect the heart or other organs with ease, where a projectile might only cut through flesh and be done."
She looked up at him and gave him a smile though. "It really did only graze my shoulder. So it's like a cut but with electrical shots through my nerves? So... it's tender. Sore. Moving it isn't very fun right now, because all these muscles are very angry at me for catching the bolt at all." She said that last back with a bit of a chuckle, smiling. She rested her shoulder again, hand in her lap.
"Honestly, I'm more sore with myself for being distracted than I am about the shot."

Date: 2017-03-03 02:16 am (UTC)"I'm glad it only grazed you then, if it was set to kill." Honest as well, and thinking back over the battle. Not the challenge, but the training-exercise. "Any hits I took against the droids, I didn't notice because of the energy around me while a super saiyan. Except for the tank-hits. Those...pikes the IGs used also really were annoying."
A sigh, and offering a half-smile. "I've been hurt much worse though, so a little pain isn't going to stop me, just like it's not going to stop you."
Nope--no loss of respect or trust for her at all. If anything, he bowed his head to her. "Thank you also for being honest." That half-smile remained after the formal thank you. "I shouldn't have been distracted either, so blame both of us?"
Then smile faltered. "Or blame me, because I proposed the whole idea. I should've just taken them both out and been done with it, from the start."

Date: 2017-03-03 02:36 am (UTC)She moved to stand though, careful of how she got up, to stay presentable. Her hands resting on her hips as she looked down to him.
"And I'll always be as honest as I can be with you. Nor am I going to blame either of us for it. It was a rookie mistake. I'll learn." She tipped her head back towards the heating pool. "But for now, I am going to go relax in a pool of hot water for a bit. You are more than welcome to come join me."
no subject
Date: 2017-03-03 02:41 am (UTC)Watching her from the corner of his eyes, as she was looking down at him. "...I prefer honesty. Thank you." Do-not-think-about-her-in-hot-water, do not do not donot....
Nope, definitely blushing. "Go relax. I might poke around in here. Haven't decided yet."

Date: 2017-03-03 02:50 am (UTC)She stood there, tall and good legs, markings and all, not at all ashamed. This robe covered more then her swim suit. Which... he's find she was wearing under this anyhow. Maybe it wasn't needed in most cases, but even at the temple they had modest coverings. She shook her head at him and moved further inside, undoing her robe.
"Suit yourself. Though if you aren't the least bit sore from that challenge, I'm going to be mad. Completely unfair of you to be that strong that you just shrug all that off." She said with a chuckle, teasing. When she got to the heated pool she shucked the robe and folded it, sitting it to the side. She then kicked off the slippers and moved to slip into the water. Black swim suit bottom and top this time (the tie fit around the back of her neck to spare her poor shoulder). She sank down in the water in full, only the tiny tips of her montrals peeking out, and she stayed there for half a minute, before rising up so her head was out of the water, taking a breath, then letting out a very deep sigh, as if this was the most amazing thing in the world.

Date: 2017-03-03 02:57 am (UTC)Truthfully, he'd been more sore after their practice battle. Zarbon hadn't landed a hit at all, and the rest had been energy blasts. What Trunks was feeling more than anything though, was tired. That weird kind of tired where he knew he'd sleep once he actually let himself do so, but was too awake otherwise. Which wasn't that surprising considering the roller-coaster of emotions and hormones.
Easy enough to clear up their dishes on the tray, although he left the mugs out. Then it was exploring--and fighting an internal battle that he knew he was losing.

Date: 2017-03-03 03:06 am (UTC)"So you eat more to... gain energy? Heal? He didn't even leave a scratch on you, did he?" She called out and then chuckled, a hand coming up over her face as she wanted to sink in more. "You really could have just... knocked both off the map in a moment and we'd just be standing there asking when the challenge started, huh?" That even bigger feeling of needlessness hit her a moment and she sank again under water. Terrible.

Date: 2017-03-03 03:16 am (UTC)For about a minute at least, he'd pondered just leaving. Then another minute pondering leaving and coming back with the long swim-pants in his room, rather than what he found in the lockers. Then Trunks remembered her asking for company, and he hung his head.
Quiet steps, waiting until he could be sure she'd hear him even if the rest of her was under water. Arms crossed, and his face bright red, a towel around his hips. "I...wasn't sure. Not with Zarbon, not until he confirmed who and what forces he was with." Focus on the tactics, not on her (and what she was wearing) or on himself (and what he was wearing under the towel).
"I am glad you were there though, Ahsoka." Moving and sinking into the water quickly, towel discarded right before because oh he was so embarrassed. This was not good. "For a lot of reasons."

Date: 2017-03-03 03:29 am (UTC)As the other returned, she raised up so her eyes were above water, lekku drifting a bit, nose still under. Blue eyes stared up at him as he was there, towel around his hips. Force help her, he was damn good looking. Thank you to his mother and father and--ug. No, bad thoughts.
She sat up a bit more, head above water to say, softly. "And here I thought you might have left." She was blushing but the heat of the water hid that, thankfully. "There or not, though, it wasn't much of a challenge for you, was it?" She said softly, peeking as he got in, and smirking a moment as he too had a suit on. She made no comment, just drawing her legs in closer to herself, so not to take up so much space.

Date: 2017-03-03 03:35 am (UTC)She'd been honest with him--and she deserved it back. "Not physically, no." Confirming that much for her.

Date: 2017-03-03 03:47 am (UTC)"I asked, but I didn't expect you to actually do so." She said with a small smile, sitting up enough that her lekku floated just over her suit. When he confirmed in honesty that it wasn't a challenge for him, she gave a nod, considering that.
"This time, I might not have been much of a help, but next time might not be so much physical. So, I get that. That it wont always be like that. Still... I thank you for humoring me out there." She said with a bit of a sad smile, watching the water now.
no subject
Date: 2017-03-03 03:54 am (UTC)Honestly he's kind of not sure what to say about any of that, or at least having trouble figuring out words that work. "You've known me two weeks now." There's still a hint of hurt in the tone, and his eyes narrowed slightly. "That means you know, if I don't want to do something, I won't. And I don't 'humor' people."
no subject
Date: 2017-03-03 04:05 am (UTC)"I just..." she frowned more, not looking at him. It's only been two weeks. She knows just enough about him in some ways and not enough in others. She also might not have fully understood his reason for what he had done. For the plan at all. Still not looking at him she said softly. "If you could have just... powered up and taken both of them out with barely raising a hand to them, why did you go about it the way you did?" She tried not to sound a bit pouty herself. For her, in the end, when she let her mind wander on it too much, it felt like he was allowing her to 'play' as well, but he never seemed like one to just 'play' for something like that. Which, in her head, meant he was just allowing her to have a chance. Otherwise he could have taken it all out and be done in a blink.
No need for her at all...

Date: 2017-03-03 04:10 am (UTC)Finally he sighed, looking away first. "I respect you." A lot. "I respect that we have different ways of doing things, and different experiences. You have a lot more battle experience than I do, both in amount AND variety."
He wasn't blaming her though at all. It had been his choice to propose what he had, and his idea. Hiding a bit more. "...you..." So very very red there. "You said I impress you. That goes both ways, Ahsoka. You don't think you're impressive--but I do."
no subject
Date: 2017-03-03 04:33 am (UTC)Then she thought more. She got hit with a blaster bolt, in the shoulder. He swooped in to pull her up and lifted her out of range, even though she was still capable of defending herself and fighting. He got mad at her being hurt and took everything out in one blow.
Anakin had swooped in early on to save her a few times too, but she grew from it. He'd gotten upset when she had been hurt too. They had both been protective of her. Was it just that she didn't... want someone to be protective. That was a strange attachment she didn't know what to do with.
He had said she was impressive to him as well. He said it and she could tell he meant it. Pursing her lips she looked over at him, then... moved. Sitting up more, getting up to stand a bit and drifting forward in the hot pool, moving with ease and turning to sink back in. This time she had crossed over to sit beside him, nudged in so that her good shoulder was pressed beside his. She sank down once again so that her chin was under water, before finally saying.
"Thank you." and explained slowly. "I just don't like being left behind. I don't like being a burden, and I don't want you to have to worry about me on the battle field. At first I thought I was being helpful. Doing something for this challenge. We were going to take them both down and that should have been that. But then I messed up and you swooped in and I just... felt a bit small."
