The servants are unseen and unknown. Residents are welcome to take over the Servant’s rooms or not, but it is not recommended. Likewise, it is unclear where the Master resides. Usually s/he will call a meeting of their champions and meet them within the reception all or Banquet room.
Meals are typically taken together as a group, and if requested--training times for the champions as a group may be arranged. Both of the mundane variety, and also recreations of challenge-zones, such as the Labyrinth and the Mirror Gallery. The castle and its immediate surroundings have been set to mimic Earth with its single moon and 24 hour cycle of time, along with a standard Julian calendar for convenience.

Date: 2017-03-05 09:47 pm (UTC)Tamaki looked startled a bit, both at Ahsoka's appearance and at Trunks' name. It was seen in his eyes, even as his smile never faltered. "I look forward to working with you all." A nod especially to Ty Lee, and Himawari, and Ahsoka. They seemed friendly enough? Then again, hadn't there been something about multiple-universes mentioned? Sounded like something from an anime that Renge or the twins'd watch.
Ty Lee smiled, and got herself back to her feet. Repeating her bow with the closed-and-open fist to the other two arrivals, before bouncing over to Himawari. "I LOVE your hair! It's so pretty. It's so nice to meet you Hima! What nation are you from?"
Barely waiting for an answer, before she's over to Ahsoka. "I'm so glad to meet you too Ahsoka!" Reaching out and grasping her hands. "I love your make-up and your head-dress! I've never seen that design before. Have you heard of the Kyoshi warriors?"
Clearly this one was a bundle of energy as it was then over to Trunks. "Wow, I've never seen purple hair. Do you dye it?" Reaching up to muss it, and brown-eyes were amused. "You're like...seriously buff!" Trunks might have been blushing again, and trying to edge away.
Then Ty Lee is over to Logan, offering him that same bow and clearly not bothered by the grumpiness. "It's nice to meet you too Mr. Logan. You remind me of some of the generals in the Fire Nation Army. They didn't seem to think much of us either for being so young." Hands on her hips, head coming up with a grin. "Boy were they wrong."
"Maa Miss Ty Lee," Tamaki soothed, coming over and gently taking Ty Lee's arm and drawing her out of the others personal spaces. "I can tell you and I are going to get along quite well."

Date: 2017-03-05 10:00 pm (UTC)Ahsoka couldn't help the unsure look she gave the hyper girl as she rounded on her. A brow raised and she lifted a hand to her cheek, rubbing at a white mark. "It's... not make up." She said but she had no idea if the other even heard her, as she rounded on poor Trunks. Does he dye it? Wow, rude. Her arms crossed under her chest as she watched the girl. Buff? Ahsoka hadn't noticed. She instead looked to the Master, her arms relaxing a bit as she gave him a questioning look.
"Would you like Trunks and I to show them around before dinner, Master?" Or allow them to do it on their own?
Logan was disturbed. This kid was WAY too hyper for him. "Trust me, it aint your age that bothers me." Which was true, really. He'd rather Yukio be here instead of this. He'd have to make due though.

Date: 2017-03-05 10:08 pm (UTC)"And if I recall, we take dinner as a group yes? Or was it all meals?" Purple-eyes looked like they were trying to recall, one finger coming up to his chin.
Ty Lee didn't actually seem so put-out by being wrangled, as she grinned and moved as easily as if she were from high society. Which she was. "I would love a tour before dinner. Maybe make it a quick one though? I'm starved."
The Master, as ever, looked amused. As amused as the robed figure could look anyways. "If you wish to give them a tour before dinner, that would be appreciated Ahsoka. It is up to you both however, as you have more experience here."
Addressing the group at large once more. "You are free to claim any room for your own quarters, though we ask that you leave the Servant's areas be. They need their space as well. Suite 6 has been claimed by Trunks, and Ahsoka has claimed Room 8." Holding out one long sleeve, 4 more pieces of paper--maps--appeared on it for the new arrivals. "Lunch and dinner are to be taken as a group. We expect the next challenge to be in one month. We shall no more details at least 24 standard Earth hours prior."
Trunks nodded, happy for a task at least as he took the maps and passed them to the others. "Did you want to start inside or outside?"

Date: 2017-03-05 10:30 pm (UTC)Himawari gave the Master a bow in thanks as well, smiling so cheerfully, hands to herself. She had been assured that her control over luck would still be with her here, so she was not so fearful to curse any of these people, but it still was habit to be careful.
Logan took the map handed to him, muttering. "Thanks." To Trunks, controlling himself well enough not to add 'Kid' at the end of his statement. He flipped through it, brow raised a bit. Yeah, okay, it was a bit bigger than the X-mansion.
Ahsoka moved to rest her hand to Tamaki's shoulder, giving her head a tip, as if to say follow her. "Let's start this way. Inside for now, I think." And to the others. "It will give the Steward time to get ready for us, and give you each a quick idea of the place before we sit down to talk."
And politely, like a peacekeeper she wasn't anymore, added. "If you have any questions about the place, Trunks or I might be able to help, and if not, the Steward is more than helpful."
A very easy tour of the three floors was made. Just a simple walking tour, and notes here and there about rooms or places. Pointing out rooms that were open and what not. Only to round back to the dinner hall. She knew they could all wander on their own, but she wanted to get an idea and feel off each of them, while she could, but also give them room to bring questions up at dinner as needed.

Date: 2017-03-05 10:40 pm (UTC)A brief walk-through of the Servants area, and Tamaki went positively white with fear as the not-fully-able-to-be-detected servants were around. Too spooky for him, even if he was assured they meant no harm and were on their sides. Ty Lee didn't seem bothered by it at all.
On the first floor, there were exclamations of how grand it was, and the blonde lit up at the sight of the music room. THAT was a familiar and welcome sight. Ty Lee goggled at the Winter Garden, and then they were all heading upstairs.
So many rooms--and aside from the two claimed they could have any of them? Wow. Likewise the idea of the bathing rooms didn't bring any undue shock, and the maps helped. Especially since they now bore "Trunks' room" and "Ahsoka's room" over their chosen rooms. Easy to find them, maybe.
"Outside, you go a couple of kilometers out and then you hit the edge." Trunks explained, though he'd kept himself silent and to the back.
"Edge of what?" Ty Lee asked, bouncing over and twining her arm with his. Trying to draw him back into the group clearly; he wasn't budging.
"Edge of the island. This castle and its surrounding grounds are on a floating island in the middle of a--an...I don't know what to call it. The scenery seems to change. There's also a teleportation pad outside that leads to one of the practice-challenge zones."
"Magnifique!" Tamaki murmured, purple eyes wide. "It really is like something from an anime." More quietly to himself, with a smile. "I shall have to give it my best then, to be worthy."

Date: 2017-03-05 10:53 pm (UTC)The invisible servants however, did not please him much. He couldn't even smell them, and that bothered him a bit. Still, so long as they left him alone, it'd be fine.
Himawari chirped up when the blonde mentioned anime. She was smiling bright as she said to him. "I haven't watched Anime in some time, but you're right! This does feel like we've stepped into an amazing fantasy story. Like something you might pick up in a manga." At least she would understand his Japanese roots.
Ahsoka was doing her best to ignore how clingy Ty Lee was to the young men. There was no point in commenting. She simply ignored it for now. "I would be careful not to fall off the island. The Master has assured us, if something happens to us in battle, they can help with recovery fast, but a fall from this high might be a problem." She gave the hyper girl a half smile, drawing her arms behind her back again. Suddenly she wasn't so interested in dinner.

Date: 2017-03-05 11:01 pm (UTC)Moving to offer his arm to their gracious hostess, he gave a slight bow as well. "Miss Ahsoka, you have been a delightful guide. In return, may I escort you to dinner?"
Especially since a pleasant but resonant "Gong" was heard. Must be the dinner signal.
"The edge of the island is at least clearly marked. As in, it's clear-ground so you can see off. Not hidden in a forest or something." Trunks briefly returned to the earlier topic, and carefully extricated himself from Ty Lee. Gonna take a few steps back, and walk by the other strong-and-silent type.
The cheerful girl put her own arms behind her back, smiling, and not too put-out. "This place is amazing. And I've been to some amazing places before."

Date: 2017-03-05 11:37 pm (UTC)Ahsoka let out a small breath as Tamaki offered an arm. It was like he was a senator or something. Or treating her like she were Padme. So strange, but she reached out to take the offered arm. "I suppose." She said as best as she could, nodding towards the dinning hall. "It'll be this way."
The other strong and silent one was being just that. Silent. His hands in his pockets, memorizing and mapping the place. Being uncomfortable. He glanced at the lavender haired boy and gave a small nod. The two of them could bring up the pack well enough.
Himawari gave Ty Lee a bright smile and fell in near her. "I really love your outfit. This is such a god color on you." She spoke, as if she had known her for some time. Just polite and cheerful.
no subject
Date: 2017-03-06 02:21 am (UTC)Nevertheless he did indeed escort Ahsoka as if she were a Lady of importance. Pulling out her chair for her and everything, before he took his own seat.
Trunks gave Logan a nod of his own, studying the other covertly as they walked. He was...grudgingly polite. But Trunks wasn't surprised honestly, considering the other reminded him well of a warrior haunted. Moving to find himself a seat at an edge of the table, opposite Ahsoka if he could. Best to have one friendly face for sure.
Especially as Ty Lee slid into the seat next to him.
She gave Himawari a bright grin of her own. "Thank you! It matches my aura nicely. I love your clothing as well! It looks so comfortable to move in, and the color really suits you!" Very much cheerful herself.

Date: 2017-03-06 02:40 am (UTC)With Ahsoka, Tamaki and Logan lining one side of the table, and Trunks, Ty Lee and Himawari down the other, she looked around at them and suddenly it felt crowded, but not in a bad way. There was just a lot of people here, she thought. More than her and Trunks, who could gather a meal together and go sit at a random table, or in the middle of the floor like idiots, or in a completely different part of the house and be happy about it. Now they had to share meals with four other people at least twice a day. She wondered if it would really happen, and what would happen if they didn't?
Himawari was glad to talk to someone about girly things again. She had taken her sword off and placed it beside her at her chair, her hands down in her lap and making sure her clothing was in the right place. "Thank you so much! I'm not sure on auras, but I like to think the light colors go well with me!" Her aura is actually very black for some people. Black, or dark, or dead in general. So don't focus on that.
"Is it all right if we talk at the table? Or do we take meals in silence?" She asked, looking to the others for social cues. There were a lot of things she had learned in her travels that she had to keep in mind.
"I don't care if we talk or not." Logan said almost gruffly with out too much force. He sat, arms on the table, frowning around at the setting. This was too fancy for him. Then again everything in Japan was too fancy for him, and he had just left that.
no subject
Date: 2017-03-06 02:49 am (UTC)Now it'd be 4 more people to take meals with. That would be...interesting. "I don't think there's a rule against us talking." He ventured, although he knew he himself would stay quiet. Especially with Ty Lee right next to him.
Tamaki seemed at ease, although this wasn't what he expecting or used to. It reminded him of meals at Ouran, although still perhaps a shade less fancy. That was alright though as he was looking forward to the adventure to come. Especially if he could be of service and help. "I am not our host, but I would think the reason they wish us to take at least some meals together is to allow for us to all get to know one another. To socialize and converse, since we'll all be working together." A genial smile, purple-eyes meeting everyone else's. Hoping he could take more of a measure of his new companions as well.
The blonde thought he might have a good handle on Ty Lee and Himawary. Somewhat. "For example, it's clear that there are some commonalities between most of us. I presume you're familiar with Japan, of Earth, Miss Himawari?" From her comments about Manga and Anime he was guessing he was right.
He paled a little, as the servants entered, bringing pots of tea (something floral and light) out along with water for the table, pouring for them all. Bravely though, he tried to keep his smile in place. Ty Lee's dark eyes were round, and she nodded and said "Thank you" to whatever invisible presence there was. Then back to an earlier topic with Himawari. "No, I can imagine with your skin-tone and hair, you'd look amazing in high-contrasting and bright clothing."

Date: 2017-03-06 03:17 am (UTC)"He makes a good point. We're going to need to learn about each other. Where we're from, what we can do, what we know and talents. Just so we can all help strategize when the time comes for it." She said, looking around at the others. She too thanked the servant she couldn't see, and fidgets with the napkin in her lap. Fancy dinner was never her thing.
The comment of Japan did get Logan's attention too though, his brow creasing a bit as he frowned. Were they mostly from Japan? All of them? Even the orange chick that looked more alien than Mutant, though she could be either?
Himawari smiled brightly at the others though. "Oh, yes, Tamaki-san. I was born and raised in Japan, though I have been to many other places since then. I haven't actually seen home in a few years now, I believe." Time got a bit weird when you became a dimensional traveler. "Let's see, the last time I was on Earth it was two thousand fourteen, I believe."
Logan raised a brow at that, looking across at the girl. He didn't say it, but that was a strange comment. Last time she was on Earth? What?

Date: 2017-03-06 03:29 am (UTC)Gesturing out, letting the conversation move to someone else. Nor was he surprised when Ty Lee took up the conversation. "I'm not really sure where Japan is, or France. I'm from the Fire Nation--where I'm from we have four countries--the Earth Kingdom, Water Tribes, Fire Nation--and there used to be Air Nomads, but they were mostly wiped out in the war with the Fire Nation over the last 100 years. The Avatar is an Air Nomad and Bender though, and I know some of the people in the Earth Kingdom Colonies have taken up their ways, even if they can't Air-bend."
All as if this was completely normal, even as she moved to pour herself some tea and then looked at Himawari and Trunks, asking if either of them wanted some silently.
Tamaki's eyes were slightly wider again. "That...does not sound like an Earth I know, regrettably, Miss Ty Lee." Turning his head, trying to draw one of their silent seat-mates into the conversation. "What about you, Trunks-kun?"
Kun? Trunks is blinking slightly, but accepted it. "The planet I'm from is called Earth, but we also don't have a France or Japan. I'm from West City, on the main continent. Mostly we navigate via coordinates."
no subject
Date: 2017-03-06 03:45 am (UTC)Both of them, really. Trunks-san as well. How interesting. "What about you, Mr. Logan. Miss Ahsoka?" She settled in with tea and looked very interested in all this. For her she 'knows' some of these people but not really knowing them at all.
Logan snorted, leaning his back into his seat and folding his arms over his chest. Relaxing a bit as they waited for a meal. "Just Logan, kid. I'm from North America, I guess. Just left Japan, actually." That didn't at all give them much to work with though. "Earth. Same year you." He said, nodding to Himawari, before glancing down past the blond to the alien mutant chick. Look, he's playing along.
Ahsoka was starting to feel... a bit... outside. The only one that didn't say they were from 'Earth' was Ty Lee and she had a Earth Nation where she was from. A hand came up to rub at her cheek, a bit of a nervous habit, before reaching over to take her glass of water, taking a sip then saying. "I was brought here from Coruscant. A planet in the core line, built of nothing but a city, with flying speeders and a thousand different races." A pause, then almost a bit too softly. "Space." She was from space. Not even just outer space, but Space.
She gave Trunks a weak smile before taking another sip of water.
no subject
Date: 2017-03-06 03:52 am (UTC)Ty Lee also was smiling, brown eyes studying her. "A whole city as a planet? I'm not even sure I can imagine that. The closest I can think of is Ba Sing Se, capital of the Earth Kingdom." Spreading her hands out, trying to give them some idea of the scope. "It was surrounded by a huge wall, to help protect it and is enormous!"
Tamaki's eyes were wide too, reaching out and gently taking Ahsoka's hand. "Forgive me any offense I might incur, Miss Ahsoka. Am I to understand you're...well, I guess to me you'd be what is classically known as an alien?" So earnest and curious. "Truthfully it's amazing that I'd be in such company!"
no subject
Date: 2017-03-06 04:04 am (UTC)And she's clearly blushing, or at least her cheeks darkened, as the other took her hand. He spoke in such a way that he would have been a senator for sure, or at least a son of a senator. "If you think about it. We're all aliens to this place, and to each other, so yes. In that regard, I am. There is no Earth where I am from, as far as I know, so most of you are alien to me as well." She pointed out, and gave a smile all the same. "And I do not find questions like that offensive. Asking to know something is always the best way to learn."
no subject
Date: 2017-03-06 04:22 am (UTC)"I take it you're not from an Earth that has interplanetary travel as a common thing yet, Suou-kun?" Trunks preferred a little distance, so last name it was. Tamaki HAD said it was alright, and at the other's nod, he grinned. "It's not exactly common on my Earth either, but we are familiar with interplanetary visitors at least. Not just in the form of stories."
"Then you have an advantage over me, Trunks-kun." Tamaki replied, before shifting purple-eyes back to Ahsoka. "I am thankful for your willingness to indulge my curiosity. Manners can help make the difference, if one knows the right way to go about them."
Ty Lee was following with interest, studying Ahsoka, and something had just clicked in her brain. Her hands coming together, and she bowed her head. "I am so so sorry Miss Ahsoka. You said it wasn't make-up....I'm guessing that's not a costume or headdress either then." Still bowed over her hands, tone sincere. "I still think it's really pretty though."
no subject
Date: 2017-03-06 04:39 am (UTC)Which might be the problem. All of them had been around different races. Having one out of place unknown (her) was never a problem. "Of course, Tamaki. And it is fine. I hope my own questions for your homes doesn't seem off putting either." She said softly, smiling to put any of them at ease. To Ty Lee she kept the smile. She was liking her more now that she wasn't conversation hopping so swiftly.
"Please. No need to apologize. Part of it is a head piece, if that helps any?" She said to the gold diamond plates on her head, the ones that branch off into soft ball chains over her montrals and down the back of her head. One part looking under the back lekku, the hanging chain.... missing. Anakin must have thrown it away by now. She explained her head, calm and soft. Montrals, lekku, how the tips were to hear, and how some people called leeku 'brain tails' though there was no part of her brain within the tails themselves. When she was done she asked, politely.
"Is Trunks the only one with any form of space exploration or contact with other races?"
That was when the silent older man spoke up, leaning there on the table. "We have space exploration. NASA. They keep shooting shit out there in space, but it's not finding anything." He said with a shrug. "Other races? A bit. Mutants." He scratched at his side burn at this point, frowning. "They consider mutants another race or life form. No one's the same. A good friend o' mine's blue, long tail, sharp toothed and jumps through portals." He shrugged. "You get used to it."
no subject
Date: 2017-03-06 04:47 am (UTC)"We have heard of NASA as well, and have partnered with it on occasion. As you say though, Msr Logan--they have not found anything." A pause, and he looked down--not nearly as comfortable with asking him questions as he was Ahsoka. "We..do not have mutants as another race or life form, where I am from. The term is used, but not in the way I think you mean? Or perhaps I am mistranslating."
Ty Lee was grateful Ahsoka accepted her apology, and paid attention. "Oh those are so pretty! Do you get to do different decorations? It must be a lot easier than trying to deal with hair ornaments. Or would it be harder because they're poking directly against your skin?"
Tamaki paled again, as the servants brought out food. Small bowls of a soup of some kind, a plate with salad and bread, and some kind of fancy casserole in a bigger dish placed before them all. Some familiar, some not, but it all smelled delicious.
As Ahsoka'd seen before, Trunks briefly brought his hands up and said something quietly under his breath--but Tamaki was watching too. "AH HA!" Pointing, triumphant and grinning, to Trunks' startled blue-eyes, along with Ty Lee's startlement too, her spoon halfway up.
A moment of pause, and then Tamaki seemed to realize, before he settled. "My apologies. Just...that, and the Bow you did earlier--I find it hard to believe you do not have a Japan where you're from."
no subject
Date: 2017-03-06 05:12 am (UTC)Himawari noticed how Tamaki kept paling when the food came. She just gave him a smile and a reassuring nod when she thought he might have looked. She's like to talk to him about it, but later. When it wasn't so busy maybe. She thanked someone for the meal and gave her own little bow to it. She didn't say much else for now though. She already knew where her Tamaki had come from, and this one sounded the same. And she knew about Logan's mutants and his metal claws. She wondered if that was all the same too. Hmm.
Ahsoka was still blushing. Oh Force help, how to deal with questions about her RACE and TYPE. She was used to JEDI questions, not this. "Oh, I, uh, I've never really changed them. It was given to me in honor of my training. It--oh!" and Tamaki spoke up, and she had to chuckle, hiding it with a hand and glancing to Trunks. Poor thing. "Perhaps his civilization is just... advanced for far from your own that old customs are kept from different cultures, passed on?"
She'd seen it in planetary history before. Maybe Trunks is so far forward in their Earth's planet that they no longer recognize Japan or France or North America or anywhere like that as places.
no subject
Date: 2017-03-06 05:18 am (UTC)"I also thank you for explaining Msr Lo..Logan." Correcting himself, even if his inclination was to be polite. "It will take me some time, to get used to all this. Especially invisible servants."
Ty Lee had also done a short bow over her food, though she said nothing, and was taking small bites. "I know! It's weird. I mean, I know they say servants are to be neither seen nor heard, but this is...strange."
Trunks was glad the spotlight was off of him for a moment, and turned his attention to Himawari as well. "You said you've been to other places?"
no subject
Date: 2017-03-06 05:28 am (UTC)Himawari could agree about that the servants were a bit weird, but she had dealt with that before once as well. When Trunks had directed a question to her, she covered her mouth and finished her bite of salad, before nodding, smiling. "Ah, yes! I have. I have been to an island in some unknown location, where dreams and wishes can be granted. We once had a little girl wish that everyone had a hundred kittens each, so the island was over run for a week until someone wished that away." She said, smiling fondly a moment, then shaking her head.
"I've been to a haunted place, Red Fort, I believe, that was mostly a haunted hotel and a small town of...um... problems? Then to another island on a different Earth, where a darkness came out every night, flooding the entire place in monsters. And um... yes." Her voice was getting softer each time she mentioned one, as if she did realize how amazingly insane this sounded. She blushed and picked up her tea, still smiling though.
no subject
Date: 2017-03-06 05:32 am (UTC)Ty Lee was listening raptly, in between bites of her own salad and soup. "What kind of problems? You sound like you've had an amazing journey!"
Trunks was just as glad for the spotlight to be off of him, trying to catch Ahsoka's eyes and offer a reassuring smile. If nothing else, they had each other's backs here just as much as in the challenges. "Were they all on Earth, Miss Himawari?"
no subject
Date: 2017-03-06 05:41 am (UTC)Himawari beamed at that. "Just as Ahsoka-chan said! Just a few years ago I was just a student in school as well." A cursed student, but she didn't mention that part. To Ty Lee though she said carefully. "Monsters. Uh, They were called mutants too, actually, but..." to Logan, a worried look. "I am sure they were not the kind you were mentioning, Logan-san." And to Trunks, she bit her lip. "Oh, I ah, I don't think they were all Earth. Pocket universes, or multi-verses. I'm not sure which. I always seem to be drawn to them from different sources and I don't know why. The last one was Earth though. Outside of Canada!"
And back to Ty Lee, a curious look. "But what about you? It sounds like you might be in all of our respective pasts, at least technology wise. Are you a student or fighter?" Because she can tell there are a few fighters here. She may have a sword, but she is not a fighter like they are.
