She had thought of him as a good friend as well. A good companion, fighter and partner in 'crime' on the field. Great to hang out with. Even if she had been a bit... god, she had been jealous before, hadn't she? She maybe shouldn't have taken it out on him though.
It's not that she hadn't had a crush before. There was Lux Bonteri after all, but she also wasn't suppose to get feelings like that for anyone. It was something her Masters warned her against.
This would have been frowned upon. Her heart tightened a moment as it felt still, like it had stopped, and her face was a brilliant darker orange, a sign of blush in her alien skin. She looked down and away, chuckling nervously. Maybe that kiss was a mistake. "I uh, yeah. I don't really know what I'm, uh, doing either. Or what came over me. Sorry." She mumbled back.
