Wasn't hard for either of them, working together, to move things in to place. Her beaming made him blush--but hopefully it wasn't obvious too much. Also made his heart skip a few beats, but he could ignore that.

Her going through the door though was new--and her cursing, just as he'd started to protest didn't help. Not much time to react though, eyes narrowing, and he's shifting his feet slightly. Letting a small burst of ki fly at the beast--just enough to sting, and help it realize he was the target.
