Lynchpin---Castle and Surrounding Grounds.

The servants are unseen and unknown. Residents are welcome to take over the Servant’s rooms or not, but it is not recommended. Likewise, it is unclear where the Master resides. Usually s/he will call a meeting of their champions and meet them within the reception all or Banquet room.

Meals are typically taken together as a group, and if requested--training times for the champions as a group may be arranged. Both of the mundane variety, and also recreations of challenge-zones, such as the Labyrinth and the Mirror Gallery. The castle and its immediate surroundings have been set to mimic Earth with its single moon and 24 hour cycle of time, along with a standard Julian calendar for convenience.

SHe didn't mind talking about some things, and other things she spoke about but deflected a bit as well. It was easy to tell what buttons not to push and which doors to go through. She enjoyed hearing what he had to say as well, and when they had nothing to say it wasn't uncomfortable either. Walking around, exploring, checking out places as they went.

"I wonder where we're allowed to stay. If we get a cell to sleep in or if we have to find a place on our own." She said, and yes, she called it a cell. She was used to the temple 'rooms' being cells, and not in a bad way. Never locked up, but never really a lively place to live either.

He honestly wasn't used to being around many people, given the state of the world he'd grown up in. Not to mention his mother's fear of losing him, and his own frustrations. That they could be quiet around each other, it wasn't awkward, was a welcome revelation. He respected when she avoided or deflected, and if he was a bit more formal than he had been when they sparred, he was still polite and respectful.

The castle was huge though, and again part of his mind turned to trying to tactics. Worrying if all the rooms would need to be filled and what that might mean. The variety of rooms available though, reminded him a bit of Capsule Corps and the pictures he'd seen. The parts of it before West City was destroyed, and he and his Mother had fled and lived under the ruins to hide effectively.

"I'm not sure it matters where..." But he looked over in surprise and a little horror. "Why would we have to be in a cell?"

To his surprised sounnding question she raised a brow, looking over at him. "To sleep, rest or recharge?" She said, unsure what he meant at first, then corrected herself. "I mean, as in living quarters? Or a living space? Not a detention cell or interrogation cell!"

She almost laughed a bit at that, a hand covering her mouth a moment. "I apologize. They were simply called living cells in the temple. A place to rest or keep a change of clothing." They didn't have many worldly belongings.

Well, that was somewhat reassuring, as the horror is gone. "Guess it's a use of the word I'm not familiar with." Reaching up and rubbing his hair and neck, embarrassed. "Then again, from all that you've said, it seems like the Jedi were almost like a religious order of Monks."

"Ah, yes, a little bit? I know some people see it as a religion. And there are groups, like the Guardians of the Whells, that are nearly religious with pilgrimages and such. The Jedi just have... strict rules and guidelines, meant to make it so we aren't clouded by anything other than our focus on our task."

She rubbed at the back of one lekku, frowning. "I suppose it sounds strange, even as I say it. It's not all that bad, but sometimes it seems that the Jedi's rules force us to sit back and watch things happen. Things that we should have been able to prevent." She and her master had broken those rules more than a few times.

"...that definitely sounds like a hard burden to bear, if you're not 100% committed." Trunks commented, but it was with sympathy. "From what you said though, maybe the feel like those rules are necessary, given the kind of powers you guys wield."

Offering her the idea, even if he privately was guessing she hadn't always agreed with it. Maybe he wasn't the only one with a strong sense of right and wrong. It would fit, with the spirit and sense of playfulness she'd shown him during sparring.

At this point, they were back on the first floor. For lack of a better idea, he was going to find a place he could curl up and try and sleep. Tomorrow they could ask about rooms.

"That is part of it, yes. The rules are to keep us in check. Or others would be scared for what we could do. There are rogue Jedi and Sith like that. But still... sometimes it's hard to follow those rules, if you are sure it will be the death of someone else."

She gave a small shrug though, and a smile once again. "Still, it's not important to me anymore. Not now, at least."
