It wasn't quite as casual as when it was just him and Ahsoka, but it still wasn't nearly as fancy as it could be. At least, Trunks hoped so. He'd gotten used to the buffet style when they dined, or pulling a cord and asking the Steward if he could have food and then hunting up Ahsoka.
Now it'd be 4 more people to take meals with. That would be...interesting. "I don't think there's a rule against us talking." He ventured, although he knew he himself would stay quiet. Especially with Ty Lee right next to him.
Tamaki seemed at ease, although this wasn't what he expecting or used to. It reminded him of meals at Ouran, although still perhaps a shade less fancy. That was alright though as he was looking forward to the adventure to come. Especially if he could be of service and help. "I am not our host, but I would think the reason they wish us to take at least some meals together is to allow for us to all get to know one another. To socialize and converse, since we'll all be working together." A genial smile, purple-eyes meeting everyone else's. Hoping he could take more of a measure of his new companions as well.
The blonde thought he might have a good handle on Ty Lee and Himawary. Somewhat. "For example, it's clear that there are some commonalities between most of us. I presume you're familiar with Japan, of Earth, Miss Himawari?" From her comments about Manga and Anime he was guessing he was right.
He paled a little, as the servants entered, bringing pots of tea (something floral and light) out along with water for the table, pouring for them all. Bravely though, he tried to keep his smile in place. Ty Lee's dark eyes were round, and she nodded and said "Thank you" to whatever invisible presence there was. Then back to an earlier topic with Himawari. "No, I can imagine with your skin-tone and hair, you'd look amazing in high-contrasting and bright clothing."
